There are 282 shipwrecks documented in Mobile Bay. Two of them near Fort Morgan - the Rachel and the CSS Ivanhoe - are easily accessible.
The Rachel
The Rachel was a lumber schooner run aground by a small hurricane in 1923. Read more here.
CSS Ivanhoe
The Ivanhoe was a Confederate blockade runner run ashore by Union troops on June 30, 1864. It's 50 yards offshore, so we'll kayak out to it. Read its story here.
