Bivouac II

Navigator candidates camped at Cheaha State Park to prove they had the skills required to camp as Navigators. Each Trailman hiked a mile with a full pack, pitched his own tent, started a fire with flint and steel, and cooked lunch for his dad and himself. The dads made a celebratory dinner and presented their sons with a Trailman's Bible.

Sunday morning, everyone hiked to Pulpit Rock where Trailmen learned about how they can strive to be Sons of Jesse: Educated, Brave, Strong, Eloquent, and Handsome, and how the Lord will be with them (I Samuel 16:18).
