What are you doing with your son this weekend?
If your answer is "taking him to this" or "watching him do that", let me introduce you to Trail Life.
Trail Life is a Christ-centered character, leadership, and outdoor adventure program for boys ages 5-17. There are more than 60,000 Trailmen in over 1,000 troops in all 50 states. But more than that, it's a father-son ministry that will bring you and your son closer to each other and to the Lord.
Troop AL-254 is chartered by Briarwood Presbyterian Church, and we'd love for you to visit our Open House on Monday, August 19, at 6:30pm in the Briarwood Church Gym.
What Do Trailmen Do?
This year, our boys and their dads will camp, fish, hike, canoe, and make S'mores on a campfire.
They'll also...
Build a motorcycle, watch a meteor shower, explore a wild cave, train for a mission to Mars, build and race pine cars, go ziplining, see a 396-ft underground waterfall, go whitewater rafting, and build a trebuchet to launch pumpkins.
While they're doing that, they'll be making new friends, gaining confidence, practicing leadership, worshipping God, and learning how to walk the Christian path.
All with you by their side.
