Trailmen will hike the Fossil Mountain Hiking Trail
10:00 AM: Edge Tools
Foxes & Hawks will learn about the types, uses, and care of knives, axes, and saws.
Mountain Lions can earn their Woodsman Cards, which enables them to carry a pocketknife at Trail Life events.
12:00 PM: Lunch: Walking Tacos
Fritos, ground beef with taco seasoning, shredded lettuce, shredded Mexican cheese, salsa, sour cream
1:45 PM: Cave Tour
Trailmen will take a guided tour of Rickwood Caverns
3:30 PM: Gemstone Panning
Trailmen will have the option of panning for gemstones. $6 per person.
5:00 PM: Fire Safety
Foxes & Hawks will learn the rules of campfire safety.
Mountain Lions will earn their Fireguard Cards, which permits them to build and tend to fires at Trail Life events.
6:00 PM: Dinner
Hobo Packs: Ground beef, cabbage, onion, carrots, roasted potatoes
7:30 PM: Flag Ceremony
Lowering of the Colors, retirement of worn flags
8:00 PM: Night Games
Trailmen will play games with glow-in-the-dark accessories
9:00 PM: Campfire
Cobblers and ice cream
10:00 PM: Taps
